only once have i been faced with a wave like this. i was so close to shore but i was closer to the wave. i wanted to run from it but i knew the sand would hold my feet in place and the rising wall would suck me in. i had no choice but to face the towering froth and instead of running from it, i ran to it. i attacked it before it could attack me. but regardless of my efforts of overcoming the wave, it overcame me. i was swallowed, chewed and spit out all within a matter of seconds. the longest goddamn seconds of my life…never again, sandy’s, never again e__e
